My last post started with the phrase, “Life Happens.” Boy does it ever!! Initially I was supposed to be in Indiana until the beginning of August, but a drastic series of events now has me leaving early. I got a full time, permanent job working for an environmental consulting company in the North San Francisco Bay Area! I fly out of IN in a little over a week to start in less than two weeks! My job will be to assist everyone in the wildlife department with surveys, assessments, permitting, etc. This is basically launching my career and I could not ask for better! All I have to say is “Wow. Even the most random networking experience can be extremely beneficial.” So everyone who’s looking for a job, NETWORK. Even if you think it’s awkward, it’s worth a try.
ALSO: My photographs got noticed! Evidently this gem (https://cmwoolftracks.wordpress.com/category/new-zealand/#jp-carousel-185) is going to be used in an informative billboard about invasive trees on the very spot where this was taken! So if you are ever in Queenstown, New Zealand, hike up the hill and look for it! SO EXCITING!!
Before I go, I’ve got some more pretty Indiana and bird photos to share, especially because it’s thunderstorming outside.
