I’ve spent a lot of my free time knitting, and I wanted to post my finished objects up, so I had a photoshoot with the undocumented knitting objects in my drawer. I actually had a lot of fun! Lots of hats, a baby blanket, a blanket for some friends who got married, my first stuffed animal, a cowl and some old scarves I never photographed, and my first vest!
Matt and I took a getaway weekend to the town of Pt. Arena in Mendocino County last weekend. We had fabulous weather and it was a good balance of getting away and relaxation. We didn’t do anything I couldn’t do with my recovering knee, but there wasn’t a lot that I was missing. I’m not going to give a long narrative (I’ll let the photos speak for themselves) but we stayed at the Wharfmaster’s Inn in Arena Cove, visited the Pt. Arena Lighthouse, ate at the chowder house next to the inn and at the bakery along main street.
Herons can be beautiful!
The knee is rapidly getting better! I can actually sit in a chair now (knee flexed at 90 degrees) and today I took my first few crutch-free steps in the brace. For 3.5 weeks in, not bad!
